Why Richard Chose KubeNet
Alignment on Strategy and Ambition
When asked why he chose to join KubeNet, Richard shared his strong alignment with the company’s growth ambitions, particularly its focus on building a major player in the UK’s technology and managed services market.
“KubeNet is a business with real momentum, a strong culture, and clear ambition. I’ve joined at an exciting time, with a shared focus on sustainable growth through both organic expansion and strategic acquisitions. I’m looking forward to supporting the team as we build something of real substance in the UK technology market.”
He was also drawn to KubeNet’s culture rooted in strong partnerships, a collaborative team approach, and ongoing support for communities and causes across Scotland.
Supporting a Scottish Technology Success Story
Based in Glasgow, KubeNet is on a mission to become one of Scotland’s most impactful and trusted technology partners. Richard’s appointment will help accelerate that vision, bringing a strategic lens to our acquisition roadmap, strengthening board governance, and supporting sustainable growth.
His experience in building successful businesses headquartered in Scotland, creating skilled jobs and delivering long-term shareholder value, directly complements KubeNet’s strategy.
Beyond the Boardroom
Outside of his professional achievements, Richard brings a strong sense of community and balance to his work. He is a golfer, a Falkirk FC season ticket holder, and actively supports fundraising for Breakthrough T1D - a leading charity dedicated to type 1 diabetes research and support. These personal commitments align closely with KubeNet’s focus on supporting sport, wellbeing, and charitable causes.
What This Means for KubeNet
Richard Logan’s appointment marks a major milestone for KubeNet as we continue to expand our footprint and deepen our impact across the UK. His deep sector expertise, experience with scaling businesses, and strategic thinking will help guide our next phase of growth.
"We are delighted to welcome Richard on board as our Chair. His knowledge and proven expertise in successfully completing multiple acquisitions will be invaluable to our business and leadership team as we continue to execute our acquisition strategy across the UK and within specific markets."
With strong momentum already in place, including our recent private equity funding followed by our first acquisition and ongoing investment in innovation and service delivery, Richard’s leadership will be key as we move forward with confidence and clarity.
