KubeNet joins Scotland’s National Incident Response Cadre

Cybercrime is one of the biggest threats facing Scottish businesses today. In 2024, over £386 million was lost to cyber-attacks across Scotland. These threats are not limited to large corporations. Small and medium-sized businesses are increasingly being targeted, with many suffering serious financial and operational damage.

In response to this growing risk, the Cyber and Fraud Centre - Scotland has launched the National Incident Response Cadre. This is a group of trusted organisations working together to provide fast and practical support to businesses under cyber-attack.

KubeNet is proud to have been selected as a member of this group.

Trusted Support When it Matters

The Cadre works alongside the National Cyber Incident Response Helpline (0800 1670 623). When a business calls the helpline during or after a cyber incident, the Cadre provides triage, guidance and hands-on support. This includes help with technical support, recovery, legal advice and stakeholder communications.

Everyone at KubeNet is committed to supporting Scottish organisations in preventing, detecting and responding to threats 24/7/365 through proven processes and hands-on cyber support, when it matters most.

Working Together to Build Resilience within Scotland's National Incident Response Cadre

We believe that the best response is a prepared one. As well as helping businesses during incidents, the Cadre also shares threat intelligence, supports training, and contributes to public events run by the Cyber and Fraud Centre.

KubeNet’s Cyber Security Engineer, Cieran Smith, has already taken part in two events, speaking about the threat of social engineering facing businesses and how they can protect against this threat.

We are committed to sharing knowledge and working with other cyber professionals to improve Scotland’s overall cyber resilience, and the cadre will support this collaboration.

As our Director, Julie Inglis said:

"At KubeNet, we see first-hand the rising threat of cybercrime facing the business community. Joining the Cyber Cadre was a natural step for us and it's an opportunity to partner and collaborate with others in the industry, share our expertise and make a real difference.
Strengthening Scotland's cyber resilience is essential to protecting our economy, communities and fellow Citizens. The Cadre is an essential pillar in creating awareness and delivering solutions for business that will help protect them from increasing threats. We look forward to working alongside and being part of the team of Cyber professionals"
