Our Commitment to the Community
Making a meaningful impact through our work is something we are proud of. ​We are working to make a difference across our Social Value Pillars, chosen because they are meaningful to us and our people: supporting the next generation, backing local institutions, combating poverty, inclusive community engagement, and environmental stewardship.

Supporting the Next Generation
We are committed to empowering young people, ensuring that they have the support, resources, and opportunities they need for a safe, happy and successful future.

We proudly partner with Action for Children as the headline sponsor of their annual Sports Dinner in Scotland, supporting their mission of providing a safe and happy childhood for all.
​
We also actively support grassroots sports, via our sponsorships or Cartha QPR Girls RFC and Glenvale FC, and our rugby mini festivals in association with Glasgow Warriors.
Fighting Food Poverty
Launch Foods provides primary school children with a nutritious meal at the end of the school day, helping to ensure that no child goes to bed hungry.
Each child can choose from two hot, nutritious meals, accompanied by fresh fruit, a bottle of water and a sweet treat, ensuring they leave with a full tummy and a smile.

KubeNet is proud to support Launch Foods and the incredible work they do within the local community.
Through our fundraising initiatives, we've contributed to raising more than £4,695 for charitable causes, helping to make a positive difference where it's needed most.

Backing Local Institutions
Glasgow's vibrant cultural and sporting institutions play an essential role in fostering community identity and connection - and we are proud to play our part in supporting them.

We sponsor two of Glasgow's most cherished institutions - Glasgow Warriors rugby team and Citizens Theatre. In addition, we provide essential technology services to the Citizens Theatre, supporting their operations and helping them continue to bring incredible experiences to the community.

Club KubeNet at Glasgow Warriors home games serves as a collaborative and dynamic business hub allowing local businesses to connect, share ideas and strengthen community bonds.
Combating Poverty
KubeNet is committed to tackling poverty by supporting organisations that make a meaningful difference to vulnerable communities, both locally and globally.

As a proud Living Wage Employer, we believe in promoting fair pay while supporting initiatives that create lasting social impact.

We're proud to support Mary's Meals through technology solutions, helping enhance their global operations and mission to tackle hunger and improve access to education.
Our support extends beyond technology, with Team Kube volunteering in the Mary's Meals production kitchen and raising more than £4,500 through fundraising initiatives and ongoing monthly billing round-up donations.

Supporting Digital Inclusion
At KubeNet, we're committed to making a positive impact in our communities by giving technology a second life. Recently, we donated a number of laptops to Python Glasgow, helping to provide access to technology for workshops, community groups and aspiring developers.

The initiative began when equipment was made available by Electra Learning. Rather than seeing perfectly usable devices recycled, the laptops were securely wiped, supplemented with additional unused equipment from KubeNet, and donated to a community where they will make a genuine difference.
​
The donation was led by our colleague, Stephen Barraclough, in partnership with Python Scotland, ensuring the equipment reaches those who need it most. The laptops will now support Python workshops and grassroots technology communities, helping to remove barriers for people looking to learn new skills, explore programming and develop careers in technology.
We believe that small, practical actions can make a lasting impact, and we're proud to support initiatives that promote digital inclusion and create opportunities within our local communities.
Inclusive Community Engagement
As a Disability Confident employer, we are dedicated to promoting inclusivity in our workplace, ensuring equal opportunities, and creating a supportive environment for all employees.
To further encourage community involvement, we provide each KubeNet employee with two volunteering days per year to support causes they care about. Whether employees choose to volunteer with one of our charity partners, sponsors, or a charity of their choice, we believe in empowering our team to make a positive impact.
Kiltwalk 2026
KubeNet is committed to making a positive impact beyond the workplace, and taking part in the Glasgow Kiltwalk is just one of the ways we give back to our local community.
Team Kube proudly laced up their walking boots to raise funds for two incredible charities, Launch Foods and Erskine Veterans Charity, both of which provide invaluable support to those who need it most.

Thanks to the outstanding generosity of our employees, customers, partners and everyone who donated, we raised an incredible £4,695. This fantastic achievement reflects the strength of our community and our shared commitment to supporting charities that make a real and lasting difference.
Environmental Impact
KubeNet is dedicated to environmental responsibility and sustainability, both within our operations and across our value chain.

Our goal is to achieve Net Zero emissions in line with Scotland’s national targets, and we are proud members of the Scottish Business Climate Collaboration, where we actively work to create and execute a bespoke environmental action plan.

To support these efforts, we are introducing enhanced annual supplier audits to ensure our suppliers adhere to environmental, quality management, and information security best practices. These audits will help align our supply chain with KubeNet’s sustainability values and high standards for operational integrity.
