KubeNet’s Journey in Scottish Rugby: How We’re Backing Scottish Rugby at Every Level

At KubeNet, we're proud to support Scottish rugby at every level, from grassroots youth development and community clubs to professional teams, charitable initiatives and rugby media.

What started with a local partnership just a short distance from our Glasgow headquarters has grown into a wider commitment to supporting the people, organisations and communities that make Scottish rugby such a special sport.

This is a look back at the partnerships, projects and initiatives that have shaped our rugby journey so far.

Cartha Queen’s Park

Cartha Queen's Park U16 Girls' team was our first-ever partnership in Scottish rugby. Situated just 1.4 miles from our Glasgow headquarters, it was fitting that our commitment to supporting Scottish rugby began so close to home.

From the outset, our focus was on grassroots rugby, youth development and creating stronger pathways for young female athletes.

Starting with Cartha set the tone for everything we've done since, supporting young talent, building confidence on the pitch and investing in the future of the game.

Glasgow Warriors & Club KubeNet

Perhaps our most significant partnership to date, our relationship with Glasgow Warriors took our involvement in rugby to another level with the introduction of Club KubeNet.

Located within Scotstoun Stadium, Club KubeNet became a hub for fans and business professionals alike, offering pre- and post-match networking, live entertainment, player Q&As and a place for like-minded people to enjoy the game together.

We continued our focus on supporting women's rugby through sponsorship of the Glasgow Warriors Women's team during the Celtic Challenge.

We also welcomed 12 boys' and girls' rugby teams to Scotstoun Stadium for three mini rugby festivals, providing young players with the opportunity to showcase their talent and enjoy the sport they love.

Last season, Club KubeNet was one of the premier hospitality offerings within Scotstoun Stadium.

Scottish Rugby Charity Focus: Hearts + Balls Trust & My Name’5 Doddie Foundation

We believe rugby is about more than just the game. It brings together people from different backgrounds and creates a strong sense of community.

We're proud to support several charities across the UK, including two with strong links to rugby.

Firstly, we're proud partners of Hearts + Balls Trust. We've attended golf days in memory of Jim Taylor and sponsored the inaugural event in 2024.

Jim was a close friend of Julie and Fraser at KubeNet and a valued supporter of the business.

We've also supported My Name'5 Doddie Foundation through a variety of fundraising initiatives. In 2021, our team completed an active challenge that raised £4,400 for the charity. For every 1,000 miles completed, KubeNet contributed an additional £500. It was a challenge well worth undertaking for a cause we're incredibly proud to support.

We also attended the Lions Long Lunch in support of the foundation.

Hillhead Jordanhill

The latest Scottish Rugby Club we’re supporting is Hillhead Jordanhill. Again situated just over 6 miles from our Glasgow office, Hillhead Jordanhill are a thriving organisation with multiple male and female sides across different age groups.

Our logo is proudly displayed on the front of the Women's jersey and whilst this partnership is only a few months old, we’ve already been down to watch a game live. We’re looking forward to growing with Hillhead Jordanhill in what should be a long-term partnership.

The Offside Line

In a fitting full-circle moment, we've also partnered with Scottish rugby media outlet The Offside Line.

The Offside Line covers every level of the Scottish game, from youth and domestic rugby through to the professional men's and women's teams.

Their commitment to promoting the sport at all levels mirrors our own passion for supporting rugby communities across Scotland.

We're excited to work alongside another organisation dedicated to helping the game grow and thrive.

From supporting young players taking their first steps in the game to partnering with professional teams, charities and media organisations, our involvement in Scottish rugby has always been about more than sponsorship.

It's about supporting communities, creating opportunities and helping the sport continue to grow at every level.

We're incredibly proud of the relationships we've built across Scottish rugby and look forward to continuing that journey in the years ahead, both on and off the pitch.
