Voice Engineer

Must be resident in the UK as this role is based in Glasgow, Scotland.
We operate a hybrid model of 3 days per week.

The Opportunity:
We’re looking for a Voice Engineer to join our growing Voice team in Glasgow. This role is ideal for someone who is customer-focused, technically curious, and keen to develop their skills across modern voice and cloud telephony platforms. You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality voice solutions to our customers, working across installations, support, and troubleshooting, while gaining exposure to technologies such as VoIP and Microsoft Teams Calling. Full training will be provided across the platforms we install and support, making this a great opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in voice and communications within a fast-paced MSP environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:
Designing and deploying VoIP, cloud telephony, and Microsoft Teams calling platforms, handling inbound calls from customers requiring technical support, troubleshooting and resolving VoIP, SIP, and network-related issues both remotely and on client sites, triaging and escalating incidents to partners where required, investigating and monitoring telecoms, Wi-Fi, and network issues to ensure resolution within SLAs, communicating clearly with end-users, colleagues, and management while keeping all cases updated with relevant information, visiting customer sites to diagnose and repair voice services when needed, supporting internal KubeNet teams, delivering first-class customer service at all times, and documenting processes, configurations, and fixes to enhance the shared knowledge base.

What We’re Looking For:
We’re looking for someone with at least 2 years’ experience in a voice, telecoms, or IT support/engineering role, ideally within a managed services or service-led environment. Most importantly, you’ll have a keen eye for detail, a positive attitude, and a strong willingness to learn and develop your skills. You should be proactive, motivated, and take pride in delivering high-quality, accurate work.

Excellent communication skills are essential, with the ability to engage confidently with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders at all levels. You’ll be customer-focused, hardworking, and able to troubleshoot issues logically while managing tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have (But Not Essential):
Experience or exposure to Gamma products, Microsoft Teams Voice (including Operator Connect or Direct Routing), CallSwitch, Splicecom, or Evolve platforms would be beneficial but not essential.
