KubeNet celebrate youth rugby with another mini festival at Scotstoun

To celebrate the ongoing success of our Glasgow Warriors partnership, KubeNet’s team of Kube Warriors got involved with another mini festival in conjunction with the fantastic Glasgow Warriors Community Team.

Almost 200 P7 kids from 15 clubs located all over Scotland were up bright and early on Sunday 20th January ready to play a tournament at Scotstoun Stadium, home of Glasgow Warriors.

It was great to see so many kids involved and a massive thank you to all the Coaches, Parents and Carers who made this happen. Full list of those who attended here:

Kilmarnock, Moffat, Allan Glens, Cambuslang, Ellon, Garnock, Helensburgh, Irvine, Lenzie, Loch Lomond, Strathaven, Strathendrick, Falkirk, West of Scotland, Paisley.

Clubs who attended not only got show off their skills and play clubs that they may not have had a chance to before, but they also got to get some tips from Former Scotland Team Internationalist and Glasgow Warriors Community Manager Lindsay Smith and Glasgow Warriors Community Rugby Coach Stuart Lewis.

Everyone who played on the day also got a special Kube Warriors goody bag with a reusable water bottle and snacks.

Check out photos from the day here

We’d love to keep running these events, but we need your help!
